The past year has been quite full! Our adventure started in Ellös, Sweden at the Hallberg-Rassy factory in June 2018, where we picked up our dream boat. After heading to Norway and then south to England, we crossed the English Channel to France, Biscay Bay, then proceeded down the coast of Spain and Portugal, Gibraltar, and headed into the Mediterranean.
In September 2018 we sailed up the coast of Mediterranean Spain and crossed to the Balearic Islands and on to Sardinia where we spent the winter of 2019. We cherished the time we were able to spend with friends and family in Sardinia, where Giorgio was born and raised, and also where both of our children, Robbie and Marco, were born.
In the spring of 2019 we sailed around both Sardinia and Corsica and then spent 4 months in the Balearic Islands. Our adventures have been fantastic: fueled by different cultures, languages as well as foods. The only difficulties that come to mind were finding proper and honest technicians to work on our SSB radio, which is now working fine.
We have now reached Gibraltar and are ready to head south to the Canary Islands by way of Morocco.
